Ahead of the politically charged story that follows, here is what we factually know about the death of Charlie Kirk. The shooter, Tyler Robinson, 22, and his father turned him into the FBI after his father was made aware that Robinson was the suspect.
A family member explained to the FBI that Robinson had become “full of hate” and started “spreading hate,” as well as the fact that Robinson had become “more political in recent years.”
The bullets used in the shooting did have engravings of “Hey fascist! Catch!” and “Oh bella ciao ciao bella ciao ciao ciao,” supposedly in reference to the Italian anti-fascist song, “Ciao Bella.”
No transgender “ideology” was imprinted on the bullets.
However, it’s also been noted that Robinson did not vote in the last two elections, and does not have any political affiliations as of yet, meaning he is not a far-left activist like Trump claimed.
Nothing More‘s Jonny Hawkins went a step further than ruffling feathers and went for skinning the whole damn turkey when he made an Instagram post in response to the death of the conservative influencer, Charlie Kirk, two days ago (Friday, 12th September).
Hawkins uploaded a five-slide written post containing the following:
Slide 1: “They just created a martyr.”
Slide 2: “RIP Charlie. Agree or disagree, you stood for what you believed. They just created a martyr.”
Slide 3: “My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk‘s family and friends.”
Slide 4: “Charlie Kirk never lived by the sword. He lived by free debate and open discussion. Words not violence.
“The gaslighting, projection, and mental delusion is over. We are sick of it.
“To all my strong, but silent fellow Americans. Have you had enough? Are you angry enough?”
Slide 5: “Time to bring public executions back.”

Hawkins posted the statement with the caption: “RIP Charlie. Agree or Disagree on any issue, you seemed like a good person at heart and someone who stood for what they believed in. I don’t shed tears when public figures die, but for some reason this event brought me to tears and bothered me more than most. I feel for your family and friends. You will go down in history as someone who stood on moral and principles to the very end.
#Valhalla #CharlieKirk #Martyr”
Fans were quick to call Jonny Hawkins out, asking “No post about the school shooting yesterday?” (@jess.greenwitch), and questioning his perspective, “We have to stop propaganda that Charlie Kirk was just a normal conservative. He’s claimed black women don’t have the mental capacity to be taken seriously, endorsed violence against queer people, called the Civil Rights act a mistake, and other supremacist and violent views. Don’t sanitize his legacy just because he was killed” (@theheavyhaystack) and “I don’t recall you posting about the senators shot earlier this year. Were they not martyrs? I 1000% don’t support him getting shot, but the hysteria in this post compared to your silence on the school shooting yesterday is telling” (@andresito_0578).
One comment in particular caught Hawkins attention as he responded to in a rather crude manner. @marykatewithnoashley commented on his post, “Anddddd unfollow. Because what the actual fuck is this. ???????????????? Been a fan since fucking 2015, this is so disappointing. I’m so upset I gave you my hard earned money at one point” before another fan came quick to Hawkins‘ defense, saying, “marykatewithnoashley Who tf are you? like he gives a flying f about another br@1nl3ss liberal w/ colorful hair. Everything you support is a cancer to this Earth. This or any band doesn’t need people like you. Go cry in the bathroom and sh*t tf up. We’re fed up w/ all this bullsh*t.” (@jorgerezende90). To which, Hawkins jumped on the bandwagon, responding to the initial comment, “@jorgerezende90 what Jorge said^ get fucked.”
Then, yesterday – technically, 15 hours ago at the time of writing, Jonny Hawkins posted another, smaller statement to his Instagram stories, saying that his statement was meant to ruffle feathers, as he wanted to trim the fat within the fanbase and get rid of the people who didn’t agree with him:
“I am pruning my fan base.
Like a [gardener] cutting off dead branches…
Making room for new, healthy and strong limbs to grow!
For every 1 twisted soul I lose, I gain 2 more honorable souls.
It’s a sad time for our country but my resolve is stronger than ever.
It’s so clear to me who the good and the bad are now.
I’ve never had more moral clarity than right now.”

Truly, yet another shitty opinion from Nothing More‘s Jonny Hawkins. But, this is an incredibly delicate situation and perpetuating more commentary about an event we don’t know much about just feels like a way to cash in on current events.
