Many were quick to praise how lovely hyacinths smell, while others pointed out that they’re sturdy enough to withstand a frost or two, so it isn’t too early to plant them — even if it’s still chilly in your area.
Hyacinths are typically not a wildly expensive flower, but they aren’t ever this cheap, either. A single bulb can cost as much as $7 at retailers like The Home Depot or Walmart, which really puts into perspective how impressive this deal at Aldi truly is. Even for grocery store flowers, it’s a steal.
Perhaps the best part about this delightful $1 find is that hyacinths are perennials, meaning they’ll bloom year after year if they’re given proper care.
