Hyundai India has officially entered the fleet segment with its new range of Prime vehicles – the Prime HB, which is based on the Grand i10 Nios, and the Prime SD, based on the Aura. The ex-showroom prices start at Rs 6 lakh for the Prime HB and at Rs 6.90 lakh for the Prime SD. For reference, the regular version of the Grand i10 Nios CNG is priced from Rs 7.17 lakh, while the base Aura CNG is priced at Rs 6.90 lakh.Â

Hyundai Prime HB and Prime SD detailsÂ
The Prime HB and Prime SD are based on the regular Grand i10 Nios and Aura, respectively, but have been stripped down for fleet operations. Still, passengers will find the convenience of rear AC vents, front Type-C charging ports and all four power windows, while safety equipment will include 6 airbags and 3-point seatbelts for all seats as standard.Â
Both models can also be optionally accessorised with a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a vehicle location tracking device with four panic buttons fitted around the car. Â
Under the hood, the Prime HB and Prime SD get Hyundai’s tried and tested 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol+CNG powertrain. Hyundai claims an efficiency of 28.40 km/kg for the Prime SD and 27.32 km/kg for the Prime HB. Both will come with a factory-fitted 80kph speed limiter.Â
Hyundai is also offering an extended warranty for the 4th and 5th years or 1,80,000km, whichever is earlier, and a flexible finance option with a repayment tenure of up to 72 months. The company will also have trained fleet care advisors at its dealerships to cater specifically to taxi and fleet customers.Â
