This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a replacement 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is refinished in maroon over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a white convertible soft top, 15″ turbine-style wheels, power-assisted brakes, power steering, a Hurst shifter, and concealed headlights. This C2 convertible was purchased by the selling dealer in 2025 and is now offered with a clean Kentucky title.
The fiberglass body was originally finished in Tuxedo Black (900) and was refinished in maroon. The bumpers and brightwork were also replaced. Exterior equipment includes a replacement white convertible soft top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. A scratch in the paint on the rear deck where the soft top folds down is noted.
The 15″ turbine-style wheels are mounted with Mastercraft Steel Belted radial tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted drums.
The cabin was originally trimmed in red and has since been reupholstered in black. It features two bucket seats as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets, a Hurst shifter, a heater, an analog clock, an AM/FM radio, and lap belts.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 has been replaced and is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, chromed accessories, and an electric fan.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
